Sydney welcomes new rooftop venue, Harper Rooftop Bar

Located in Sydney’s CBD, Harper Rooftop Bar is set to be the largest open-air rooftop bar in the area and will open on Thursday 2 November.

The venue boasts a rooftop pool, colourful décor, and vibrant greenery atop Kimpton Margot Sydney. The design draws inspiration from beach club interiors and contemporary pastel hues for a relaxed, laid- back atmosphere. Jean-Baptiste Robert, Pro-invest Group’s Regional Director of Food & Beverage, explained the vision behind the venue.

“Harper Rooftop Bar is an immersive space that celebrates the finer things in life which is reflected in the F&B offering. The drinks menu has a fun, playful vibe with premium cocktails and delightful slushies complemented by an extensive range of wines available both by the glass and bottle,” Jean-Baptiste said.

The drinks menu includes bespoke cocktails, summer-inspired slushies, freisling, and a range of award-winning wines. In the evening, guests can take advantage of the build-your-own-martini station.

“It’s a destination in its own right and the place for people to gather with amazing food, laidback tunes and energetic vibes in the pulsing heart of the CBD,” Jean-Baptiste added.

Chef Luke Mangan is taking on the food side, with a Mediterranean-inspired share plate menu.

“We’ve created a delicious Mediterranean inspired menu full of small, share-style plates using fresh, local produce and plenty of amazing seafood – the perfect combo to celebrate the warm summer days,” Luke described.

Just days after opening, Harper Rooftop Bar will host a Melbourne Cup celebration, with races playing on the big screens, and three hours of beer, wine and drinks covered by a $195pp drinks package.

“Finally the cat’s out of the bag – Harper Rooftop Bar opens in a couple of weeks and we can’t wait to see Sydneysiders enjoying this amazing open-air rooftop bar with a rose in hand,” Luke concluded.
