Bombay Sapphire partners with NGV

Bombay Sapphire has partnered with the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) to bring the innovative and sensory Bombay Sapphire Gin Garden to the gallery throughout the summer.

The Bombay Sapphire Gin Garden will transform the NGV’s Garden Restaurant, drawing on themes in the works of nendo and M. C. Escher and those intrinsic to Bombay Sapphire; the reflection and refraction of light will become the central theme for the space.

Signature Bombay Sapphire Twist cocktails with refreshing combinations of summer fruits, including raspberries, lemons, oranges, and fresh herbs from the NGV Garden, will be served throughout the night in the Gin Garden.

“Each fresh ingredient we use in the Bombay Sapphire Twist cocktails are selected to accentuate the subtle flavours of the botanicals in our gin, creating a beautiful fresh tasting drink,” said Bombay Sapphire Brand Ambassador and mixologist, Peter Hollands.

“Our Orange and Peppercorn Twist, brings to life the cubeb berries, a key botanical in Bombay Sapphire, which in turn creates a juicy and spicy kick in your classic G&T.”

A food pairing has been prepared by acclaimed Australian chef and restauranteur Andrew McConnell, who has created a bespoke prawn version of his iconic lobster roll exclusively for the Bombay Sapphire Gin Garden at the NGV Gala.

Melburnians will also have the chance to experience the Bombay Sapphire Gin Garden at NGV Friday Nights, launching on Friday 7 December and running until Friday 5 April.
