Hacienda Sydney turns one

Vista bar Hacienda Sydney turned one last week, celebrating its birthday in style with an evening of cocktails and an exclusive tasting of some brand-new items on the menu for guests to enjoy.

200 guests attended the evening, and were welcomed on arrival with one of the bar’s signature cocktails Cayo Coco Colada (blanco rum, lime, coconut cream, mango sorbet and fresh pineapple, picture below) to sip on while taking in the spectacular views across Sydney Harbour.

Hacienda Sydney is inspired by the grand plantation architecture of Cuba, mixed with the luxe yet playful modern vintage hotels of 1950s Miami.

Executive Chef Stefan Brademann is at the helm of the kitchen, who used the celebration as a chance to debut and give guests an exclusive taste of some of the brand-new items from his new menu, which launched to the general public the following day.

Inspired by Cuba’s traditional trading partners and their local, abundant ingredients, Stefan creates dishes unique to Hacienda.

Showcasing a selection of the new dishes from the full menu, guests enjoyed Latin and American delights such as oyster ceviche, prawn cigars, a selection of poke bowls, chorizo, pineapple & jalapeno skewers, vacca fritta, sliders and Miami cheese dogs.
