SouthTrade International has launched the very first Southern Comfort cocktail competition in Australia to find a bartender with a knack for cocktail creation and tale telling.
The Southern Comfort Travelling Tales Cocktail Competition invites bartenders from around the country to submit a unique Southern Comfort-based cocktail inspired by a personal story to be in the running to win the trip of a lifetime to New Orleans – the birthplace of Southern Comfort.
The ten best online entries in SA, WA, VIC, NSW, QLD will be selected to compete in the State Finals and the two best finalists from each state will then go head-to-head at the National Final. There they will present their cocktail to a panel of industry experts at the brand new venue NOLA in Sydney on June 13.
The winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to New Orleans, experience a cocktail walking tour of the city, tickets to the esteemed ‘Tales of the Cocktail’, and a guest bartending spot at one of the city’s most popular bars.
Southern Comfort Senior Brand Manager James Johnstone is looking forward to the interesting cocktails that will come out of this nationwide search.
