From Monday 18 to Sunday 24 September, Negroni Week will return for its 11th year of celebrations. In honour of the iconic Negroni, the program provides the opportunity to celebrate cocktail culture and recognise the dedication and skill of bartenders.

Through a series of local events at bars, restaurants and retailers, Negroni enthusiasts will be supporting Slow Food’s mission to ensure that everyone has access to good, clean and fair food. As the official giving partner for the second year, the Slow Food Negroni Week Fund will give direct support to Australians working in hospitality, helping preserve cultural and biological diversity, promote food and beverage education with knowledge exchange, and foster equity and justice.

“Year on year, Negroni Week is packed with celebration and creativity,” said Paolo Marinoni, Marketing Director of Campari Australia. “It is impressive to see how the Australian hospitality industry’s red passion continues to evolve each year. Australians can look forward to having a different and unique experience.”

The festivities, presented by Campari and Imbibe Magazine, kick off at Hickson House Distilling with an exclusive launch party on Monday 18 September, followed by a week of celebrations across 230 participating venues in Australia.

From Wednesday 20 September to Sunday 22 October, The Dolphin Hotel in Surry Hills celebrates the ritual of the aperitivo with the of opening Bar Red, a bar-inside-a-bar in collaboration with Campari. Revitalising the Wine Room with a touch of red to create a bespoke bar, Bar Red introduces the Newgronis, a range of reimagined Negronis by Bar Director Josh Reynolds complemented by a snack menu from Executive Chef Danny Corbett.
