First-Ever Vodka Release From Tasmania’s Turner Stillhouse

Three Cuts Vodka, the latest gem from Turner Stillhouse, hails from northern Tasmania’s pristine Tamar Valley. This new addition joins the acclaimed and multi-award-winning range of Three Cuts Gin.

One of Tasmania’s only premium vodkas, the new release is carefully distilled from a premium grape base, Tasmanian water and the distillery’s signature “three cuts of roses”. The result is a light and creamy vodka, with cool mineral notes and a warm finish. Perfect for sipping over ice and ideal for creating a range of premium cocktails.

Making its debut at Sydney’s Opera Bar in June, Three Cuts Vodka features in a dazzling Kaleidoscope-inspired cocktail, the Emerald Mirage. Mixing Three Cuts Vodka, pomme verte, melon liqueur, pineapple and citrus soda, the vibrant cocktail was created by the Opera House team and is exclusive to Opera Bar throughout VIVID Sydney. 

Founded by former New York finance executive Justin Turner, Turner Stillhouse and its Three Cuts Gin range have rapidly achieved success since opening its doors in 2018. Born into a family of winemakers based in Northern California, Justin’s connection to Tasmania began when he met his Tasmanian wife.  Turner sought new beginnings in Tasmania and has carved a new path creating small batch premium gin, whisky and now vodka, blending his innovative American approach, with the rich distilling traditions of Tasmania. 

“We have always wanted to make a signature vodka, and creating something that is as pure and premium as every other spirit in the Three Cuts range was paramount,” Justin said. “We’re immensely proud to introduce this exceptional example of Tasmanian vodka to the world and absolutely delighted that it has already won a Bronze medal (88 Points) at the recently announced IWSC 2024 awards.”
