Elevate your bar with a Beluga Vodka experience

When you think of a luxury, high end, food and beverage pairing, do you think of vodka? If the answer is no, you haven’t experienced what leading international vodka producer Beluga can offer.

The gourmet qualities of Beluga Vodka come from the brand’s inherent and uncompromising goal to create the highest quality spirit. Points of difference in everything from production to taste to heritage have forged a uniquely balanced and smooth spirit, perfect for use in upscale food and beverage experiences.

“The balance, integration and very smooth taste of Beluga vodka perfectly cleans the palate and prepares it to fully taste very complex but delicate foods such as caviar and seafood,” said Stefano Redo, Brand Manager for Beluga Vodka in Australia.

Creating a vodka with this ability is of course no easy feat, and with the unparalleled care and quality that goes into its production, Beluga Vodka earns its ultra premium status.

There are three key points of difference in this production; the complex taste from malt spirits created from Siberian winter wheat, the texture and mouthfeel of artesian water, and balance and integration created by a resting period between 30 and 90 days. Distilled at a 150 year old distillery in Mariinsk (the remote heart of Siberia), it’s also the only vodka made with natural Siberian ingredients.

The recommended Beluga Vodka serve is neat, at six to eight degrees and paired with caviar. This was the traditional noble food pairing from its heritage home in Tzarist Russia.

Redo described the pairing, and said: “The Caviar is placed on the back of the hand and left there until it reaches the human body temperature. When the caviar is at the perfect temperature, you take a shot of vodka and then eat the caviar from your hand. It’s hard to beat, and with Beluga Gold Line, is probably one of the best food experiences.”

Beluga Gold Line, a limited edition vodka for true connoisseurs, is available in Australia alongside the brand’s core range, including flagship product Beluga Noble, best paired with tartar and cold meats, Beluga Transatlantic, best paired with oysters and seafood, and Beluga Allure, best paired with fruits, sorbets and other desserts. The product differences lie in the minimal addition of natural extracts, that enhance the richness of each vodka to create expressions suited for a range of elevated culinary experiences.

“Beluga brings a luxurious approach into vodka and one that is extremely high quality. It’s the perfect brand for all those bars, restaurants and clubs that do not want to compromise with quality,” Redo said.

“When you serve Beluga, you are giving to your customers the best vodka available in the market and you are honouring your patrons.”

After first being taken to international markets in 2009, Beluga Vodka already tops several global markets, and has become both the Number One Super Premium Vodka in Russia and the Number Four Vodka in the World, according to IWSR Drinks Market Analysis.

It’s Australia’s love of the premium vodka category, and the vibrancy of our bar scene, that this year also saw Beluga Vodka begin a partnership with Vanguard Luxury Brands, renowned for bringing the best brands to the best bars.

“We’re so excited to work with Beluga. The vodka and the people behind it really are the best. I highly recommend the caviar ‘bump’ described above by Stefano, with a sip of icy cold Beluga vodka. It’s exquisite,” said James France, Founder and Managing Director at Vanguard Luxury Brands.

Despite this partnership news coinciding with the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia, things have started well for the partnership. Now that the industry is reopening again, both Beluga Vodka and Vanguard Luxury Brands are ready and eager to work with bars nation-wide and bring them a new avenue for an ultra premium vodka experience.

“We, at Beluga Vodka, knew Vanguard Luxury Brands was the perfect fit for our brand and this synergy is already bringing some great results. Many venues seem very happy Beluga Vodka is now part of Vanguard’s portfolio and are showing us very good support,” Redo said.

“Now with the on-premise reopening, we really look forward to being part of this new beginning and we want to offer Australian venues an excellent product and service.”
