Don’t miss the chance to get creative with Patrón

How’s this for an awesome idea from Patrón tequila? They have launched a new challenge for bartenders to put their skill, craftsmanship and commitment to perfection on show with Patrón Perfectionists Sculpting Ideas.

The competition aims to see those key values brought to life through the creation of a hand-crafted cocktail vessel, with the winning entry meaning made for use in exclusive bars across Australia.

But you will need to be quick, you need to register on the Patrón Perfectionists Sculpting Ideas website by Wednesday, 27 May.

Bacardi said: “This year Patrón tequila will partner with local artisan Tantri Mustika.

“Tantri Mustika is a Melbourne-based ceramicist who makes a range of light-hearted and colourful hand crafted ceramics. Her current collection of work incorporates a modern spin on traditional terrazzo tiling, applying it to bespoke functional forms making terrazzo adaptable to everyday life.”

After registering bartenders will receive a customised Tantri Mustika ceramic starter kit, which contains everything needed to learn a new craft plus guidance notes and videos to help get started with designing a vessel.

Judges, led by Australian Patrón Brand Ambassador, will then select a top 10 vessels. Those judged to have created the best cocktail vessel and cocktail will then be able to further develop their ceramic skills in an exclusive session with Mustika.

A winner will then be chosen from the top 10 and they will then finalise the design with Mustika, ahead of it been put into production and then into a range of exclusive bars across Australia.

Additionally the winner will also enjoy a luxurious ‘staycation’ in their hometown, so head to the Patrón Perfectionists Sculpting Ideas website now.
